Breathing Exercises for Tennis
A tennis match is mostly the gaps between points, and that is where matches are won and lost. The twenty seconds between points is enough time to reset your breathing, if you have a routine for it.
How to use them
Pre-Serve Reset is a single calming breath before you serve or return. Physiological Sigh helps after a long rally or a lost point, and Tactical Recovery Breath is for changeovers. Cool-Down Descend is for after the match, when adrenaline can keep you wired for hours.
New to this? Start with Physiological Sigh: Double inhale + long exhale. Fastest way to calm down.
