Rapid forceful breaths to fire up the nervous system.

Bellows breath rapidly raises heart rate, releases adrenaline, and primes the sympathetic nervous system. Used before max-effort lifts, sprints or fights. Stop if light-headed.

How to practice

  1. Sharp Inhale for 1 seconds (through the nose)
  2. Sharp Exhale for 1 seconds (through the nose)

When to practice

Pre-effort only. 2-3 rounds of 20 forceful breaths.

Safety

Not suitable for: Pregnancy, High blood pressure, Heart conditions, Epilepsy, Glaucoma or raised eye pressure.

Stop at the first sign of light-headedness. Sit down - never do this standing.
